Following are the 2010 prices for the Salkantay Trek including all meals from lunch the first day (most hotels in Cusco include breakfast) to lunch the fourth day, tents, mattress pads, horses to carry luggage, entrance fee to Machu Picchu, hostal in Aguas Calientes, bus to and from Machu Picchu, return train to Cusco, meditation, Tai Chi, and daily energy work. Basically, you will only be responsible for your hotel rooms in Cusco, meals upon reaching Aguas Calientes, and tips for the staff and guide (at your discretion). If you prefer us to provide a sleeping bag, we can do that for an additional $20 per person.

One note about pricing... there have been various articles about the deplorable treatment of some support staff working on the trails to Machu Picchu. You can definitely find agencies who charge less for these treks but, in many cases, the treatment of their staff is poor and/or they have a lack of experience. Our people are highly experienced, well paid and well taken care of... therefore, our prices are higher than some but I can promise that they will be reflected in the quality of the care you and the workers receive.
All deposits must be made through PayPal. 50% of the fee is required at time of booking; the remaining 50% can be paid either through PayPal or in cash upon arrival in Cusco. When you are ready to book your trip, we will send you a document outlining the above and our cancellations policies.
